Nilo is an ABD PhD candidate, and works with the Alternative Forms of Markets and Organizations (AFMO) team at Grenoble École de Management and with the Institut de Recherche en Gestion et en Economie at Université Savoie Mont Blanc. He holds the degrees of bachelor (2015), and Master of Science (2019) in Administration with emphasis on Organization Studies from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and an MPhil (2022) from Grenoble École de Management. His research is currently on the relations between embodiment and organizations. This interest is a consequence of understanding the body as central for the challenges of the 21st century, such as the climate emergency, rising economic inequality and democratic deterioration. More broadly he is interested in technology, environmental issues, post-development, and animal organization studies, understanding alternative organizing as a transversal issue inflicting in each topic.
